It is also building One Bank Street, Ten Bank Street, and 20 acres of new development as part of Canary Wharf's New District project. About Canary Wharf

Once the site of the West India Docks, Canary Wharf is now home to some of Europe's tallest buildings. The tallest is 50-floor One Canada Square, which is the second-tallest building in the United Kingdom after The Shard. There are also more than 300 shops, cafes, restaurants and bars in the district. From the start of the nineteenth century until the start of the Second World War, it was the site of one of the world's busiest docks. With the decline of the port industry, the area's docks were closed by the beginning of the 1980s. The once derelict area now boasts 97 acres of some of the world's most appealing and sought-after commercial properties, with further development plans underway. Office towers in Canary Wharf are connected to London City Airport by the Docklands Light Railway, which also links the area with the City of London. The Jubilee line of the London Underground also serves the district and Crossrail's Elizabeth line will arrive in 2018.
